i wouldnt advise any one to get a cheap set of scales i was a trainer at newent b o p centre in the 80s and if i advised any one to get cheap scales which would certainly kill a bird i would of been booted out the door are you sure you dont need further education and for leaving birds to go wild again is bull drop there weight and there fly againe so your courses are not true its not manning and training is it

Stayed for a week in the log cabins while Gary completed his Falconry course. Very welcoming place, cosy, clean and tidy accomodation, excellent base for sightseeing and walking. Hugh was extremely knowledgeable about the local area, very friendly and very helpful. Gary was delighted with the course, it gave him exactly what he was looking for...maybe more! Had a really lovely break, thank you.

Best Holiday Ever. The course was intensive but was breathtaking. Learnt a lot and Hugh is on of the best out there to learn from, laid back but also gets the point across. Falconry isn't his job, it's his lifestyle, his passion and his reason. Hugh and Jennifer are two of the nicest people I have ever met. Would recommend his courses to anyone truely interested in Falconry.

after passing the German and Swedish hunting examination, some courses in falconry in Germany and Scotland and falconrydays with hawkwalks this week with Hugh brought me into the practice. It was a teaching how to train, fly and hunt with a bird of prey and after this week it was not a problem at all to contnue with the training of the harris hawk I bought from Hugh at home.We also had many discussons about falconry. You are interested in falconry?Spend a week in Brora and train your own hawk.

Its difficult to know where to start, the course was excellent but quite intensive, but made easy working with Huge who is very knolegeable about his falconry but was also very friendly and very approachable. The log cabins where very nice clean tidy and everything you would need.Brora also has all you need good food & drink and if you fancy a drive or walk a great beach and a short drive will take to breath taking views of the highlands.well worth the visit.
